The Entry:

The Prize:
The winning story will receive £1000 cash prize and £250 worth of

The Body Shop® products, while runners up will receive £250 worth of The Body Shop® products, including the brilliant new Wise Womanä range.  The winning inspirational story, with three runners up, will appear on our Wise Woman™ site in August.

The competition is not open to employees of The Body Shop group of companies, their families or agents. Anyone else may participate including, for the avoidance of doubt, persons who are not customers of The Body Shop.

Warranty:
You represent and warrant, that:
1) the story you will submit is your original work, and that you have not plagiarised (or otherwise infringed the copyright in) any work of any third party; and
2) That you have obtained any consent or permission that may be necessary or appropriate form the inspirational person that is the subject matter of your story, in order to write and enter your story in this competition, including in particular a consent regarding the publication of the story and of the photograph of the said individual.

Assignment of copyright / Consent / Data Protection:
By completing and returning the Entry form/email for this competition to the above mentioned email address, you agree that:
1) you assign all copyright in the story to The Body Shop International Plc;
2) you waive any moral rights that you might have in relation to the story, other than the right to be identified as the author;
3) you expressly consent for the story to be published in any medium as The Body Shop may deem appropriate, including in the internet;
4) You grant The Body Shop International Plc a non-exclusive, perpetual, world-wide license to use the photograph of the woman that is the focus and inspiration of your story, for the purpose of this competition and in connection with your story, including a license to publish the photograph together with the story.
5) we may use the information you provide in order to contact you in future for marketing purposes, although we will not pass your information to any third party (other than our own agents or data processors who might act on our behalf and upon our instructions). If you do not wish to receive details of offers and news from The Body Shop by email, please include the text "OPT OUT" in your email subject field.
 
Other Conditions:
- Only one entry to the competition is allowed per person.
- Judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- No cash alternative for the value of the goods. The prize is non transferable.
- We reserve the right to change the prize in unforeseen circumstances, provided the alternative is of equal value.
- Winners will be notified by email by July 31st.
